Pregnancy -

What a fantastic period of life, but with its drawbacks of frequent low back, mid back, and often sciatic pain (pain into your legs). Chiropractic is a wonderful way to help you feel as good as possible, without drugs, and with no harm to your precious baby.

Headaches -

Over 80% of all headaches are labeled as “stress or tension” headaches. The vast majority of those are derived from muscle tension and lack of joint motion in your neck. There is no science better suited to relieve you from these headaches than chiropractic.

Migraine headaches -

Many people are plagued by the nauseating, pounding head pain caused by migraine headaches. Unfortunately the causes of these are endless, and not completely understood. The traditional western medical approach is through numerous medications with many side effects. Chiropractic offers a drug free, lifestyle changing approach to the reduction in the frequency and intensity of migraine headaches.

Nutritional counseling -

None of us have a perfect diet, and lets be honest, no one really knows how to define the “perfect diet.” With all of the fad diets these days ranging from magical diet pills, to the numerous “low carb high protein” diets, how do we know what to eat! I would be happy to sit down and sort through all of the media hype and what science actually tells us.

Kinesio-Tape -

KinesioTaping® is only available at the Saratoga Office. It alleviates pain and facilitates lymphatic drainage by microscopically lifting the skin. The taped portion forms convolutions in the skin, thus increasing interstitial space. The result is that pressure and irritation are taken off the neural and sensory receptors, alleviating pain. Pressure is gradually taken of the lymphatic system, allowing it to drain more freely.

Laser Therapy -

The MicrolightLaser® is only available at the Saratoga Office. The MicrolightLaser is a handheld, battery-operated, noninvasive, light-emitting, medical device. It is used in the treatment of a variety of soft and connective tissue disorders as well as certain neurological disorders, this device is a low energy laser also known as a “cold laser.”

Often times when we think about what a chiropractor treats, people have the misconception that all we treat is back pain. Certainly “back pain” is a large percentage of what we see in the office, however the number of common conditions that benefit from alternative and chiropractic style treatments are endless.
